Introducing the ABS Communication Continuum
The ABS Communication Continuum is an online assessment tool which can be used when assessing the communication skills of individuals with multiple disabilities including sensory, intellectual and physical disabilities. The assessment tool identifies current communication skills, potential goals and other information relevant to the assessment process. The ABS Communication Continuum is suitable for Special Educators and Classroom teachers, Speech Pathologists, parents, Teacher Aides and other professionals supporting children and adults with a sensory impairment and additional disabilities.
This assessment tool was developed by a team of Speech Pathologists and Special Education teachers at RIDBC Alice Betteridge School.
